I've never been one to spend hours searching the web, reading blog after blog or watching Hulu or You Tube all night, BUT I am a person who loves resourceful websites and interesting articles. This blog is going to be about what's going on in Indy. Is the new Sushi restaurant really worth the money? What about the new bar or an upcoming annual event in town? If you're a young professional living in downtown Indy, chances are you're living on a budget just like the rest of the world. We have to make choices - should you enjoy a comedy show or a long dinner with friends at Mesh? Is it worth it to go to a Colts game or see a show at Clowes Hall? There's nothing worse than wasting a few hundred dollars on a terrible experience...I've been there!
So what about me? I like to experience life. I go to concerts, events, award dinners, fundraisers, Colts games, Pacers games (I've been to 1 Fever game), new restaurants, boutiques, galas, you name it. My motto in life is "work hard, play hard" followed closely by "life's too short." I enjoy a good glass of wine...or two and love summer days in Indiana.
All in all, I'm a pretty happy person. At the end of the day, I've probably said Love It! fourteen times because I know that it's ultimately my decision to be happy or sad. If something bad happens, I can dwell on the bad and spend my night curled up on a couch thinking about how terrible it was OR I can say life's too short and try to see the flip side of the situation. I challenge you to try to see something positive in every bad thing that happens to you and then evaluate your overall mood. I promise you will be a happier person.
I hope you enjoy this blog! I can tell that I already am going to Love It!
